A rare parasitic animal known as the Roundwory raccoon has been confirmed in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Health Department.
Two people in the South Los Angeles area have been diagnosed with the infection, Baylisascartis procynis, caused by a parasitic worm from raccoon homes.
When it infects humans, the virus particles can affect the brain, bone marrow and eyes, and can cause brain death.

Although it is no longer available, infection can occur when people have had contact with eggs (which are in raccoon droppings) according to the CDC.

The infection cannot be transmitted between people.

Parliament is present in the US and Canada, although it is common in southern, northeastern and mid-coastal languages.
“It’s about a lot of large-scale people living in close proximity to people, and the rate of infection is likely to rise.”
Less than 25 cases of Raccoon Rockoon have been reported, but that number could be higher due to misdiagnosis.
As of 2018, there have been 23 confirmed cases and six victims in the country.
Symptoms of Raccoon Roundworw
The effects of Raccoon Roundworm can vary depending on the amount of eggs eaten and where they go in the body.
“Some of those infected had no symptoms, which is known as a crisis infection,” his jumping.
Large amounts of eggs can lead to a variety of symptoms, including nausea, loss of energy and CDC environment.
Those at the highest risk of severe disease include children, adults 65 and older, and those with weakened immune systems, the agency warned.
To prevent infection
Studies show that up to 60% of infectious diseases in humans come from animals.
Dr. Davis became closely associated with the health of the animals around us.
“Our lives are closely linked to the health of the animals around us.”
“Simple precautions, such as regular hand washing, keeping hands and their dirt out, and keeping pets indoors or out of the house can help keep our world safe and healthy. they are healthy.”
